Stepnell are a 152 year old construction business still wholly owned by the founding family and managed by the fifth generation.
We are very strong financially with a net asset value of £80m. Our annual turnover is c.£160m.
Stepnell operate across all sectors. Our biggest markets are in the care, education, commercial and residential sectors. We have an outstanding reputation for delivering quality evidenced by 74% of our turnover arising from repeat orders/recommendation. We deliver many heritage projects such as for the Oxford university colleges, such as Magdelen an St Johns and private schools including Stowe, Marlborough College and Rugby School.
In the care sector we work for clients such as Pegasus Life, Brio, The Order of St John and Royal Star and Garter.
We operate from 7 offices, Rugby, Nottingham, Bromsgrove, Wantage, Bristol, Southampton and Poole. We have 433 staff including a significant number of directly employed tradesmen.
